Although it was the start of half term, 6 young people enjoyed another meeting of RAWR. The first hour was spent playing the usual games available (table tennis, pool, UNO etc) which was followed by a short "God Slot" looking at choices and how we can choose whether to follow Jesus or not.
Following this, we put the equipment away and enjoyed Dodge Ball. The game improved as both young people and leaders joined in.
The next meeting was on 4th November due to half term.
RAWR is an inter church youth group in Maldon. Our vision is: - “The purpose of RAWR is to enable young people to meet and socialise in a christian based environment, providing support for and exploration of their faith.” Weekly Subs £1. Tuck Shop available, additional 75p limit. Table Tennis, snooker, pool, giant Jenga, board games, cards, crafts and UNO available. A short "faith discussion" slot is lead by various people.
