Friday 2nd Dec 2011

Now that some of the school productions had finished, numbers were good again this week.  The "stress" may have rubbed off one member as he was happy to walk around hugging a bean bag most of the evening.  Tuck Shop trade was good, with one leader buying a Mars Bar for his wife as the children at home had eaten her chocolates.

The "God Slot" talked about good news and how news can be good depending who who hears it.  Whilst Jesus is "good news", not everyone hears it.

The evening finished with dodge ball, using the four new foam balls recently purchased.  We had to turn the hall heating off as it got rather warm in the hall.  We also need to accurately measure the length of the hall to find the midway point and a single piece of rope to mark it.

As the young people left, an invitation to the Christmas Party on the 16th (see http://rawryouthgroup.blogspot.com/2011/11/important-dates.html) was handed out and people select the food items they chose to bring for the party.
